The Brief
Sign Holders Direct approached Vibe needing a re-design and development of an existing e-commerce website. The original site had been designed and maintained in-house, and had served the business as an on-line sales channel for some years. Sign Holders Direct wanted help from a professional web design agency to design a new e-commerce site that was clear and easy to use with a streamlined ordering process to improve sales conversions.
The Solution
The new e-commerce website was designed around the existing branding, and followed their preferred colour scheme. The home page design offers customers with direct access to product categories, providing quick and easy access to products while promoting the fast order processing and delivery, as stock is manufactured and held on-site.
Vibe developed the bespoke e-commerce system to accommodate the nature in which products needed to be catalogued and priced, as higher order quantities offers customers better value per item. The sites product catalogue is fully scalable, with the site administrator able to add and remove new categories when required, adding links within the site navigation and quick access icons on the sites home page. The site also boasts a sales section, where products are highlighted when reductions are applied, with product discounts managed within the sites administration.
Search Engine Optimisation was to be conducted in-house, so the Vibe CMS incorporated an easy to use SEO module. The SEO module allows the site administrators to edit and maintain the site meta titles and meta tags when carrying out on-site SEO, in addition to the maintenance of the on-line content.
