As a unique alternative to hiring a function room, conference centre or hotel suite, Pimhill Barn appeals to those who are seeking a truly bespoke and flexible social event for which they can create their desired atmosphere. A new website was needed to better communicate the features the unique venue offers, promoting its location, facilities, gardens and uses. Aside from this, photography from past events can be used to show new clients the venue's potential and provide an insight into how the barn can be decorated for any social event.
The new site was designed to improve upon the old website, making the venue features easy to access and making use of the client's photography. An availability calendar was implemented to show the venue's availability, using Google calendar as an easy to update tool for the site owners. To improve access to the site, a responsive design was used, therefore coding the front-end to adapt to the resolution of the device it is being accessed with, making it easy to use when accessed on desktop computers, laptops, tablets and mobile phones.
